Advancing Gender Equality in Changing Times: Building Agency, Resilience, and Unlocking Economic Opportunity
A three-part webinar series celebrating impact, learning together and looking ahead
About the Series
What does it take to create transformative and lasting change for women and girls, their families, and communities?
How can that change contribute to stronger, more economically resilient communities?
Join World Vision Canada and partners for a three-part webinar series to celebrate the impact of strong locally-led, multi-sectoral, and gender-transformative approaches that are helping women and girls exercise their rights, strengthen their voice and influence, and improve their lives, while exploring how these approaches can create hope, build agency, and contribute to broader economic opportunities.
Drawing on experiences from Kenya, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and beyond, the series will showcase how integrated investments across livelihoods, food security, climate resilience, health, nutrition, protection, and other sectors can strengthen women’s agency, address barriers to economic participation, and build more resilient communities and economies.
Each session will bring together field practitioners, technical specialists, partners, and community voices to share practical insights, lessons learned, and evidence from implementation.
